Anthony commenced his Information Security career in 2003. He worked as a security consultant primarily within central government and the gaming industry where he reduced threat profiles by establishing security frameworks and management systems. He is a BS7799/ISO27001 Lead Auditor with a number of certifications from CESG.
In 2008 Anthony underwent a change of career when he joined Barclay Simpson and established their Information Security contract division. He quickly discovered a passion for working closely with clients and finding solutions to their short and long term staffing needs. He gained a well earned reputation for sourcing highly skilled information security consultants in short timescales.
As data breaches became commonplace, Information Security moved up the corporate agenda and the demand for trusted and skilled security professionals increased. This demand encapsulated both short consulting engagements as well as long term contract solutions. In response Bridewell Consulting was established in 2013.
Bridewell’s philosophy is to work in partnership with clients and provide them the security personnel and services they require. Bridewell is retained by both private and public sector clients to provide on call security advice and services. This allows them the assurance of having expert security advice on call without the substantial costs and commitments of employing a permanent in-house security division.
Anthony is responsible for Bridewell’s security contract division and the management of associates when they are employed on Bridewell projects. It is Anthony’s ambition that companies of all sizes are able to build security into their everyday practices without being burdened by the cost or size of the task. Anthony is also keen to promote the information security profession locally. He is an avid supporter of the (ISC)2 Thames Valley Security Chapter and assists them with a number of events.
