Bridewell to Open Five New UK Offices Following Rapid Growth

Published 20 June 2021

To meet rapidly-growing demand for its unique expertise, Bridewell, is opening five new regional offices in the UK and plans to double headcount over the next 12 months.

The new offices, in Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham and Cheltenham are part of Bridewell’s growth strategy, enabling the company to meet an expected 50% increase in demand for its global cyber security services and 24×7 managed detection and responses services this year.

The expansion into new offices comes after the company experienced 20% growth in new customers in 2020 despite the pandemic, and a 75% increase in revenues for the second successive year. The next 12 months will see further dramatic growth for Bridewell as it expands into Europe, North America and Asia, fuelled by multi-million-pound investment and continued customer growth.

The news follows the appointment last month of the highly experienced Paul Driver as Bridewell’s Non-Executive Chairman to steer its ambitious five-year expansion plan and develop its service offering. Named as a finalist at SC Europe Awards 2021 for its Managed Detection and Response service (MDR), Bridewell has also joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an invitation-only coalition of the most trusted managed security service providers for the outstanding capabilities of the same service.
