Bridewell’s Position on COVID-19

Published 19 March 2020

We’re currently facing a very uncertain time with the global pandemic which has taken its grip on the world.  We wanted to assure our clients and others that we are putting in some additional measures to protect our employees and others, but it’s business as usual for us.

Cyber Security and Data Protection are business critical function and as such as have plans in place to ensure we can continue to deliver our services to our clients, leveraging our business continuity plans and cloud based infrastructure.  This is tested and externally validated under our ISO27001, ISO9001, Cyber Essentials Plus and other industry certifications.

We haven’t needed to stand any additional technology or service up to handle this type of situation, as our strategy has always been to work collaboratively and in an agile manner, whilst maintaining appropriate levels of security.

Our service continuity overview:

  • Penetration Testing – We have all relevant infrastructure and technology to deliver internal and external tests remotely and several reporting platforms for resiliency.
  • Security Operations Centre (SOC) – Leverages multi-cloud based infrastructure, VPN’s and our client technology to deliver our SOC services.  We have taken precautions from a physical security perspective such as reduced people in the SOC at any one time.
  • Consulting – Able to delivery remotely utilising our own technology and that of our clients.  For our clients within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and blue light services, we are making exceptions and able to be on-site if required, as we recognise there are requirements sometimes to be physically present.
