ISO 22301:2012 has been developed to provide a Business Continuity Management framework that requires organisations to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve a documented management system. This is to support of protecting against, reducing the likelihood of and preparing to respond and recover from an incident that disrupts business operations.
Bridewell can support the development of Business continuity plans, ensuring that organisations can effectively respond in the event of a disruption.
Working with the business we conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops with all key stakeholders. This is to identify all relevant services that are being delivered by the organisation, their importance and then the Recovery Time Objective and Maximum Tolerable Downtime. This provides the starting point for strategy development, identify gaps and developing remediation plans to enhance the awareness and responsiveness across the organisation.
If your organisation is currently certified to ISO 22301:2012 we expect you will have three years to converse to ISO 22301:2019 and after 30th October 2022 the certificate for ISO 22301:2012 will no longer be valid.
